OUR GIRL GILDA is available for adoption.
She is a Ride or Die Kind of Girl.
She is an 11 month old Leo:) As such, she brings the light with her.
She will be right by your side, up for anything, will love you forever.
She is back in care because she and her adoptive dog sister are resource guarding. Gilda gets along great with other dogs, goes to daycare, meets dogs on walks, loves to hang out, but would prefer to be an only dog. She has developed some resource guarding habits around her food (with dogs only) and it’ll be easier for her to be solo dog in the house. But she’d love to have dog pals in life!
Gilda is the ultimate cool girl.
She’s the kind of girl you can take anywhere. You know what we mean? She’ll just hang.
She is beautiful, friendly, and says yes to anything. Gilda is a tall, smart, energetic lab cross (is that Rottweiler colouring?). She is so shiny, she is so tall.
She is a pure joy to hang around with.
Gilda’s dream day would be any of the following:
-a long walk (or run)
-to learn something new
-to hang out at the Beer Can or on a patio
-to jump in your back seat and hit the road
-to hit up the garden store
-to go to the dog store and charm the people into treats
-to accompany you on errands.
-to chill out by your side forever.
Gilda has a lot of training. Her recall is good, she knows lots of commands. Could use more leash training as walking is exciting. But she is very eager to learn anything you’ll teach her. She is also kennel trained like a dream. She is great at daycare, dog parks, and gets along well with others (but just keep food out of the equation, ok?:))
We are smitten! Whoever ends up with her is one lucky person with a gorgeous dog and loyal sidekick.
